Join the Conversation: Changes to Technician Services…

De Montfort Students’ Union and De Montfort University are inviting student representatives to a conversation about the proposed changes to Technician Services across the University.

We know many students are concerned about the potential impact of staff redundancies and changes to technical support. Students have told us they are worried about what this could mean for practical teaching, access to specialist spaces and equipment, and the overall student experience.

This session is your chance to:

• Hear directly from senior University staff leading the changes

• Ask questions and raise concerns from students in your area

• Share how these changes could affect teaching, learning, and support

• Help make sure student voices are part of the conversation

Your feedback as a representative is really important. We want to make sure the experiences and concerns of students are heard clearly throughout this process.

We’d especially encourage reps from affected courses, schools, and departments to attend.

• Location: Online Teams Meeting/ OR join us at DSU in the Adam Redfern Boardroom if you would prefer to attend in person
