Explore what it means to learn at a British university and hear other students’ experiences of studying in the UK.

The workshop will be led by staff from the Centre for Learning and Study Support (CLaSS) and will include these topics; 

• What is expected of you as a student? (self-directed learning, participation in seminars, critical thinking, avoiding plagiarism)
• What type of assignments will you write? (essays, reports, blogs and presentations)
• How can you make the most of your library?

You will leave this session with an understanding of how to develop your own effective approaches to learning.
