What is student council? 

Student council is an incredible student-led initiative that digs deep into the priorities that will truly enhance the student experience.

This is THE event where ideas blossom, decisions take shape, problems are tackled head-on, and plans are set in motion to create meaningful change.The Student Council serves as a platform for students to passionately voice their perspectives and help shape the future direction of the student union and overall student experience.

Interested in joining Student Council?: Every student is warmly welcomed to attend! You’re invited to bring your ideas, participate as an observer, or step up as a voting member.

Who qualifies as a voting member at Student Council?: Any student who is democratically elected into one of the following roles is eligible to attend as avoting member of Student Council:

• Student Group Committee Members

• Course Representatives

• Faculty Lead Rep

• Scrutiny Panellist

• Liberation Officers

• Additionally, any student who wishes to become a voting member despite not holding one of theroles above may be voted in at Council by a simple majority after sharing your motivation forwanting to contribute!
